Obituary for Grady William Hunt
Grady William Hunt, 83, from Greensboro, FL, was born May 18, 1938 and passed away
February 24, 2022. He was married to Shirley Sansom Hunt for 39 years. He was the son of
Gardner and Mary Alice Hunt of Quincy. He was a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church of
Hosford, Florida - where he loved to hear Brother Kyle preach! Grady loved working in his yard
and being with his family. He spent most of his career driving a truck for multiple companies.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hunt; his parents, Gardner and Mary Alice; one
sister, Annette and five brothers; Elton, Lloyd, Milton, Howard, and JT.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Singletary (Jason) of Hosford, FL and Donna Arnold
(Marty) of Telogia, FL; one granddaughter, Amber Watts (Jon) and three grandsons, Bailey
Singletary (Amber), Cody Arnold, and Tucker Singletary; one great grandson, Tristan Watts;
three sisters, Betty Castaldi of Philadelphia, PA, Marie Stiglich and Jeanette Hunt, of Quincy.
He also had a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford, FL.
Visitation will be at 2:00pm, followed by the service at 3:00pm, with Pastor Kyle Peddie
officiating. Interment will follow at Sycamore Cemetery in Greensboro, Florida.
