Obituary for Michael Alan Colon
Michael Alan Colón of Monticello, FL was welcomed into his heavenly home on December 25, 2021, Christmas Day, his favorite day of the year after a fierce, but short battle with cancer. He was 56. He will be remembered for his joyous life, quick wit, beautiful smile, generous heart and deep faith in Jesus Christ. He had a vast love of nature, camping, dogs and living in the country.
He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Anne Colón; father, Angel Colón; stepmother Angela Colón; sisters Linda Shannon-Blackburn and Kimberly Abner; many nephews, nieces and in-laws. Preceded in death by his mother Ailleen Drew Colón; brother Charles Shannon II and father-in-law Gerald Phillips.
A celebration of life is planned for a future date.
