DEBORAH RENEE TODARO TURVAVILLE
November 15, 1950 – April 1, 2021
Deborah Renee Todaro Turvaville, born in Gadsden county November 15, 1950 to Ruby Yawn Todaro and Cyrus C. Todaro, Jr., died April 1, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James D. (Jim) Turvaville, a special sister-in-law, Ann Turvaville Fuller, brother-in-law Jerry Turvaville (Kaye), special nieces Christie Fuller Mundy (Jeff), and Carrie Fuller Tharpe (Jeremy), as well as her Aunt and Uncle, Anita Yawn Johnson (Carry), as well as numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Cyrus C. Todaro, III.
Debbie graduated from Quincy High School, class of 1968, and began working for the State of Florida Parole Commission the following Monday. Later she was hired by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and retired from there in 2016, proudly completing 47 years of service to the State.
Debbie, her Mother and Aunt Anita enjoyed bowling together for many years. As a member of the Rug Cutter Country Western Dance Club in the 1980’s, Debbie traveled with the club to various contests and fulfilled her love of dancing. Debbie loved Mexico Beach, Florida! She and Jim spent as much time there as possible making life-long friends and providing wonderful memories for their relatives, neighbors and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 763 Antioch Church Road, Climax, GA. 39834. Charles McClellan Funeral Home of Quincy, FL is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308-5428 or online at bigbendhospice.org.
