Obituary for Billy
William (Billy) Joseph Faircloth of Rock Bluff, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Billy was born in Bristol, Florida on March 23,1937 and graduated from Liberty County High School. Following high school, he spent two years in the United States Army. He later worked with the Florida Department of Transportation where he retired.
Billy was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors and family.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy Jean Faircloth of Rock Bluff, Florida. He is also survived by his daughter, Michele L. Jackson of Madison, Florida; two grandchildren, Alicia Austin and husband (Derek) and Kristina Jackson; four grandchildren, Rayce, Liza, Layah and Otis. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond (wife Margaret of Bristol. He is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Faircloth and mother, Bertha Faircloth.
Services with the Immediate Family will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., EST. at Rock Bluff Cemetery.
