Thomas Dewey Day Sr. was born on June 21, 1950 and passed away suddenly on January 6th, 2025. “Tommy” was survived by his son Thomas D Day, Jr. (wife Kaitlyn), 3 daughters, Michelle Day, Wendy Simon (Edward), Karen Ly. Step-daughters Ruth Ann and Laura. Sisters Barbara Edwards (“Cat”), and Betty Alice. 10 grand kids, Ricky, Isabella, Alex, Valerie, Jonathon, Alejandra, Esmeralda, Christain, Victoria and Abigail. 9 great grand kids, as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews, friends and family
Tommy is welcomed at the gates of Heaven by his loving parents Jefferson Owen Day and Annie Roach,
and beloved wife Lorraine Day, 2 step daughters, Molly and Lee, brothers, Daniel and Buddy Day; sisters, Audrey, Brenda and Irene, a grandson, Marcos and 2 granddaughters Virginia and Selena.
Tommy was a combat wounded Vietnam Vet. He received several metals for his Military Service:

He was a loving Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and PapPaw.
The funeral service will be Thomas Memorial Baptist Church on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00, at the church. Interment will immediately follow the church service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy.
