Obituary for Sylvia Faye Parramore
Sylvia Faye Edwards Parramore went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 5, 2018. Sylvia was born February 17, 1947 in Quincy, Florida to the late Alexander James Edwards and Robinette Stringer Edwards.
Sylvia married John David Parramore on April 3, 1965 in Bainbridge, Georgia.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, John David Parramore , one brother, Ronnie Edwards of Gainesville, FL, and one half-brother, Ricky Hicks of Sycamore, FL; two sons, Dino Lynn Parramore and wife Tammy of Marianna, FL, and Troyce Loren Parramore of Chattahoochee, FL; two grandchildren, John Shelby Parramore of Marianna and Heather Lynn Barnes and (husband) Justin of Orlando, FL; four great- grandchildren, Braiden Chafin(8) and Delanie Roberts (5), and Bentley Parramore (7), Everley Parramore (4) and their mother, Whitney Molina.
Sylvia was a very dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the United States in their motorhome. She was very passionate about gardening and bird feeding, trips to the beach for ocean sunsets and anything else nature could provide her. Her other passions include being a diehard FSU fan who loved to cook, softball, ceramics, photography, being with her group of ladies called Sassys, and other close friends.
The service will be Monday, July 9, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Chattahoochee. Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
