Obituary for Sybil Lillie Lodge
Sybil Lillie Lodge of Quincy, Florida peacefully passed away on February 24, 2016, after a brief stay at Riverchase Nursing Home in Quincy.

The service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Quincy. The Family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM until service time, at the church
Sybil was born in Quincy August 12, 1929. She married Earl W. Lodge in 1945 and they were married for 70 years. She was a homemaker and loved being a mother to her children Robert Lodge, Sandra Hornsby, Susan Bryant and Jeffery Lodge. She went back to school after raising her family and received her G.E.D. and L.P.N. degree. She worked at TMH and then at the Gadsden Nursing Home. She always loved helping others. She was baptized at 15 and put all her energy and devotion into loving her family.

Sybil is survived by her loving husband Earl Lodge, three children, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Hazel Gainous and her brother Lamar Sims of Quincy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Bryant, a brother, Samuel S. Sims, Jr, her sisters, Mary Holoman and Helen Parmer, and her parents, Celie Parish Sims and Samuel S. Sims.
