Obituary for Sreda Lynne Fain
TALLAHASSEE, FL - Sreda Lynne Fain of Tallahassee, passed away on May 10, 2021. She was born in Birmingham, AL and moved at an early age to Melbourne, FL.  Lynne graduated from Melbourne High School where she was a member of the marching band, student council, national honor society, dance club, key club, and a class officer. Lynne went on to study nursing at Florida State University where she graduated in 1985. Lynne was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and FSU’s spirit club Scalp Hunters. She was employed as an RN by Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for 24 years. She spent the last several years employed by Hopkins Eatery.
She is survived by her children MarySylvia Fain-Hinnant and Robert Hinnant, sister Laurie (Philip) Greenwald, and their children Jared and Ethan, stepmother Jo Ann Fain and stepbrothers John (Rosemary) Gamin, and Robert (Tammy) Gamin. She is predeceased in death by her parents Dr. Frank Fain and Mary Sylvia Fain.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 6 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church, Quincy, FL. The family request donations in her memory be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation, PO Box 871847 Kansas City, MO 64187, www.pkdcure.org.
