Obituary for Robert Gordon McPherson, Sr.
Robert Gordon McPherson Sr., 84, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and owner of McPherson Electrical Contractors until he retired, died March 10, 2021. There will be a graveside service for family and friends at 11:00 a.m. EST Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy, FL. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia McPherson, his children, Cindy Morris (Don), Robert McPherson (Trenda), Linda Evans (Rob), Jay McPherson and his sister Susan Kirby of Clearwater; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Rivers Buford McPherson, his mother Margaret Lucile McPherson, his brother James Buford McPherson, daughter Joanne Quay McPherson, one grandson Robert Gordon McPherson III, and one great-grandchild Dominic Morris McClain.
