Obituary for Robert Glass
Today at 12:13 PM Robert Glass, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, Florida, passed away August 24, 2015 in Tallahassee, FL. He was born March 26, 1929 in Southport, FL to Joy L. and Mary Creamer Glass. He served in the U. S. Army and was transferred into the Army AirForce. He attended the University of Florida School of Forestry for two years. He was in the seafood retail industry and operated the Fish House in Quincy for more than 40 years. He is survived by his wife 41 years, Karen Stege Glass of Mt. Pleasant, FL; sons Darrell Dwayne (Sherry) Glass and Michael (Danielle) Glass of Tallahassee and Martin Eban (Frances) Glass of Opelika, AL; brothers Thomas Lee Glass and John L. Glass of Eastpoint, FL; sisters Ethel May Glass Shiver and Joyce Watkins of Eastpoint and Virginia Inez Rabon of Sneads, FL. He was predeceased by his sons Robert Glass and Greg Glass, his parents and his brothers Richard Leon Glass, Henry Buford Glass and J.D. Glass. He is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Life Connection Church in Chattahoochee, FL.
