Obituary for Ricky Edward Lemieux
Ricky Edward Lemieux traveled countless roads over his lifetime and on Monday, December 5, 2022, took his final journey that led to his eternal heavenly home.
After graduating from Greensboro High School, Rick joined the USAF. His career began at England AFB, Alexandria, LA, and ended with a special assignment in Nevada as a survival equipment specialist; followed by a wonderful job at Major Video Corp., Las Vegas, where he coordinated the opening of numerous locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Upon returning home to Florida, he worked as a Sales Representative with Higdon Furniture Company, where his customers were family.
Rick was a happy man! He loved deeply - his family, friends and pets. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a proud 'Noles fan. He was a man of strong faith and lived a life overflowing with love and laughter. He was gentle, kind and trustworthy.
What a blessing he was to his parents, Ronnie & Lavonia; wife, Donna (Myers); daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Ashley, Jacob and Noah; siblings, Jim & Barbara, Karen & Jim and their families; in-laws, Annette & Gordon, Karen, Jamie & Debbie, Tina & Tom, Michael & Melissa and their families; the Lemieux boys - not just cousins, but brothers and their families; Aunts, Alice and Ella Mae, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother-in-law, Todd B. Myers, along with other family and friends who have now gathered together enjoying a great reunion. Oh, what stories are being shared!
We will come together to celebrate a life well loved on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Quincy, 210 W. Washington Street. A private family interment to follow.
The family wishes to thank Big Bend Hospice for their care and support and especially Tammy who cared for them like family.
