Obituary for Randolph E. Greene
Randolph E. Greene, 86, of Quincy, FL., passed away December 27, 2015, at his home. He was born in Pelham, Georgia on June 28, 1929, and graduated from Gadsden High School in 1948. He and his wife operated Randy's Market Rite Grocery Store until their retirement. He also served three terms as a Board Member of the Gadsden County Board of Public Instruction and was a very active member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Quincy. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 10:00 AM in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church Quincy with the service following at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Shelly Chandler will officiate. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Vicki Wiggins Greene, a daughter, Becky (Jim) Greene Ledger and a son, Randy (Pam) Greene all of Quincy, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Betty Greene of Quincy and Regina Wiggins Patterson of Valrico, Florida. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Ona Greene, a brother, Eldon (Pug) Greene and a granddaughter, Noel Greene.
