Martha Sullivan Taylor, 85, of Quincy, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of Big Bend Hospice February 24, 2024.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11:00 am EST at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy.
She was born August 2, 1938, in Quincy, Florida to the late William Pelham Sullivan and Annie Lee Betts Sullivan.
Martha graduated in 1958 from Temple University where she earned her Dental Hygiene degree. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Quincy, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the love her life, Dr. Walter Forest Taylor, of 33 years, and her sister, Barbara Orrick. Martha is survived by her sons, Bruce Burns and wife Dana, Adam Burns and wife Shelly, daughter Ann Cox and husband Frank, son Jimmy Taylor and wife Angie, late sons Tommy and Bob Taylor; grandchildren, Keith Burns and wife Rebecca, Grayson Burns, Charlie Burns, Jake Burns, Heather Cox Fuller and husband Robert, Taylor Cox and wife Nichole, Forest Taylor and wife Kristen, Logan Taylor and wife Nicole, and Daniel Taylor, and great grands, Anna Kate and Pearce Hightower, Carter and Luke Cox, and Bryer Taylor.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Centenary United Methodist Church, Quincy, Florida.
