Obituary for Margaret Edwards Cooksey
Margaret Edwards Cooksey, of Sawdust, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Providence Baptist Church, and was well known for her beautiful oil paintings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John C. Cooksey, and her parents, Iduma and Fletcher Edwards. She is survived by her son, Calvin B. "Cal" Cooksey and his wife, Mary Kaye, of Sawdust; her grandchildren, Carrie Kaye Smith (Doug) of Sawdust and Calvin F. Cooksey (Lana) of Bradenton, FL; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Conner, John Calvin and Bella Cooksey and her beloved dog, Princess Callie, of Magnolia House. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy. Visitation will be today, Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Charles McClellan Funeral Home, 15 S. Jackson St., Quincy, FL., (850) 627-7677.
