Obituary for Margaret Bateman Howell
Greensboro - Margaret Bateman Howell, 88, died January 31, 2020 at Riverside Nursing Home in Quincy, FL. She was born in Greensboro November 4, 1931 to John Lee and Daisy Mitchum Bateman. She was a graduate of Greensboro High School and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Gadsden County Hospital.
She married Willie Earl Howell June 17, 1950.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Greensboro United Methodist Church until service time at 11:00, in the church. Interment will be at Sycamore Cemetery. Reverend Juani Hernandez will officiate.
She is survived by her children, Elaine Howell of Lakeland, Florida, Gloria (Dan) Decker of Tampa, Florida, Charles Howell, Edward (Sherry) Howell, Allen (Donna) Howell, and Charlotte Willeby of Greensboro, and ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Lieberman, her husband, Willie Howell, and her parents, John Lee and Daisy Bateman.
