Lillie Kay was a lifelong Educator, she never lost her curiosity about the world around her. She was a very independent woman, who achieved three Master’s Degrees, in Chemistry, Biology and an Administration Degree in Education. She taught Chemistry for many years at Boca Ciega HS, St. Petersburg, FL, Orange Park Jr. HS, and ended her career as a Guidance Counselor at Wakulla HS.
Lillie Kay enjoyed many passions, but she especially enjoyed FSU football and golf, which she played until she suffered a shoulder injury. In her retirement years she loved to volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Alzheimer’s Respite Care, as a Board Member for Big Bend Hospice and reading to the residents of the River Chase Assisted Living Facility. Lillie Kay was always ready for a good time with her beautiful smile and her signature laugh. I want to thank everyone who helped us along this path, we were blessed to you in our lives.
