Obituary for John Wolfe Scott
John Wolfe Scott, 68, of Clarksville, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024 in Tallahassee, Florida surrounded by his loved ones. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, John came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
He was proceeded in death by his father Wilmot “ Billy “ Scott, his mother, Winnie Elizabeth Faircloth ( Scott ) and his half brother, Hardie Stanek.
John was born July 9, 1955 in Quincy, Florida where he remained for most of his life. He loved working with his hands building and repairing things and eventually made a career as an Electrician. He was a loving father and greatly enjoyed playing with his great grandchildren.
His is survived by his four children, John Bradford Scott, Julie Nicole Beach, Joshua Brandon Scott and John Wolfe Scott, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his brother, Wilton “ Sandy “ Scott and his sister, Diane Smythe.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 20, 2024 at 11 am at Flat Creek Baptist Church located at 3577 Flat Creek Road Chattahoochee, Florida 32324.
