Quincy-John Cason Scruggs passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021. He was born in Lloyd, Florida on September 2, 1939 to Agnes and Cason Scruggs.
John moved to Quincy when he was 16 years old to live with his aunt and uncle, Haynes & Roberta Thompson. He graduated from Quincy High School in1958, attended college for 2 years, and served proudly in the U.S. Marine Reserve for 6 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, son, Bryan (wife Ashley), and their children Ben, Chason and Olivia, and son, Steve and his child, Avery.
A memorial service will be held at Centenary Methodist Church in Quincy on Thursday, May 27 at 11:00 A.M.
