Obituary for Joanne "Jan" Graham Boyd
On the evening of January 23, 2025, Joanne “Jan” Graham Boyd, while being surrounded by her family, passed peacefully into eternity. Up until the end, Jan maintained a strong example to overcome major medical obstacles, all while showing compassion to her friends and family. Through her 89 years of life, she demonstrated an unselfish life by volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, American Cancer Society, Tallahassee Heights Methodist Church, as well as many other needs within her community.
Jan, also known as B-baum, was adored by her children Marcie (Kevin) Donahue, Shannon Boyd, late Alison Boyd and Robert (Beth) Boyd. Jan was also loved greatly by six grandchildren Janna Donahue, Carly Donahue, Kara McDaniel, Wesley Boyd, Landon Boyd and Moni Boyd, as well as two great grandchildren Felix and Silvie Martin.
Jan was proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years Robert “Bob” Boyd, daughter Alison Boyd, father, Issac Vernon Graham, mother, Alma Graham, brother William Graham and sister Betty Meroney.
The family would like to share a sincere gratitude to all friends that shared in her life, as well as Big Bend Hospice for making the transition a peaceful experience.
A celebration of life was shared with close friends and family on January 25, 2025. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Big Bend Hospice or Suwannee Area Boy Scout Council in her name.
Charles McClellan Funeral Home, Quincy, FL., was in charge of arrangements.
