Obituary for Jeremy Wayne Fletcher
Jeremy Wayne Fletcher, 50, of Bristol passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022. Jeremy was born in Tallahassee on April 7, 1972. He was always mischievous and enjoyed making people smile and laugh. He always tried to find the good in everyone. Jeremy packed an amazing amount of living into his life. He had a larger-than-life personality and a smile to match. The love Jeremy had for his family and friends was undeniable. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Fletcher. Survived by his wife of 12 years, Patricia Pickron Fletcher; his parents, Frances and David Powell; three sons, Jeremy Ryan Fletcher, Benjamin Case Fletcher, and Stepson Jared Anthony Holcomb; sister, Melanie Hill (Eric); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeremy was a graduate of Amos P. Godby Highschool where he played soccer. He was a professional engineer earning his degree from Florida State University College of Engineering in 2007. Jeremy was employed by the Department of Transportation. He was also a licensed professional land surveyor and mapper who owned Fletcher Surveying & Engineering located in Bristol, Florida as well as offices located in Port St. Joe and Panama City. Jeremy enjoyed traveling with his family in his free time as well as playing golf and going to FSU games with his boys any chance he could.
Visitation will be held at Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10 a.m. with services to follow at 11 am. Burial will be held at Providence Baptist Church located in Greensboro at 1:30 p.m.
