Jeff Dawkins, 60, of Quincy FL, passed away in Tallahassee on September 29th, 2023.
Jeff was born to Garnet Bureata “Rita” and Emory Dawkins in Titusville FL, but has called Sawdust home for the last 50 years. He chose a career in Autobody repair where he started out doing paint and bodywork and then became an auto adjuster. He was known for his professionalism, kindheartedness, and laughter. Jeff loved hunting and fishing, but it did not compare to spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids. He always wore an unforgettable smile whether mowing his pasture or out riding the woods. Jeff’s humor and laughter were contagious and he always lit up a room. A big kid at heart, he was often heard saying “Holy Crap” and “Hey Now”. Jeff was one of a kind and we will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him forever and always.
