Obituary for James Willis Hinton
James Willis Hinton, 92, of Quincy Florida, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy at 2pm on Friday, February 5, 2021. The family will receive friends from at 1:00 until 2:00pm before the service.
Mr. Hinton was born July 5, 1928 in Decatur County Georgia, the son of the late Charles E. Hinton, Sr. and the late Annie Spooner Hinton. He was employed with the Floridian Company as mine supervisor for 37 years.
Mr. Hinton is survived by his wife of 74 years Sadie Hinton, sons James Hinton(Susan) of Orlando and Michael Hinton of Houston Texas, son in law Kenneth Boyett (Linda) of Athens, Texas, granddaughter Pam Boyett Cherry, grandsons, Scott Hinton, Stephen Hinton and Kenneth Boyett, Jr and four Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Hinton Boyett.
