Obituary for James (Jimmy) H. Hindman
James H. (Jimmy) Hindman, Jr., 80, of Sycamore, FL., passed away March 29, 2016, at his home. He was born January 23, 1936, in Pittsburg, PA. He served in the U. S. Navy and retired as an Investigator with the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office.
Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2016, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Pine Grove Church Road, Greensboro, FL. Service will be Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Yvonne Shepard Hindman; daughters, Tammy Dale (James) Roberts of Greensboro, Cynthia Irene (Joey) Proctor of Bristol, Lisa Suzanne (Ty) Rowell of Bristol, and Mary Ellen (Jed) Green of Greensboro; brothers, John, Thomas (Marianne), Robert (Tom), Donnie (Janet), and Dennis (Mary) Hindman, all of Pittsburg, PA., and his sister, Karen (Gary) Kuntz, also of Pittsburg. Eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews.
