Obituary for Isaac Dewaine Brock
Isaac Dewaine Brock, born October 5, 1949, in Quincy, Florida, to Isaac Ashley Brock and Jerelene Sellers Brock, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. A lifelong resident of Gadsden County, Dewaine graduated from Quincy High School in 1968 and remained deeply connected to the community that shaped him.
Dewaine is survived by his daughter, Sharon Reagan Roach (Steve) of Roswell, Georgia; his grandson, Austin Roach (Maika); and his great grandson, Calum Roach, all of Crestview, Florida. His family was his greatest pride, and he cherished every generation that followed him.
He is also survived by his siblings, Imaglen Brock Parramore (Danny) of Quincy, Florida, and Lavaughn Brock of Lady Lake, Florida. Dewaine held a special place in the lives of his nephews, Chad Parramore (Rachelle), Zack Parramore (Hayley), Eric Brock (Tracy), and Brian Brock, as well as his great nephews, Adam Parramore and Robbie Brock, and his great niece, Alyssa Brock.
Among those who mourn his passing is his beloved aunt, Irene Bennett of Quincy, Florida, along with numerous cousins who shared in the bonds of family and memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 284 McCall Bridge Road, Quincy, FL 32351. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Dewaine’s life, his kindness, and the legacy he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dewaine’s honor to Antioch Baptist Church.
