Hilda Warren Perkins, 90, of Quincy, FL, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Hilda was born on June 18, 1931 in Midway, FL. She was Sr. Vice President, first female officer, at Citizens Bank & Trust, currently Bank of America. She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Marvin Leroy “Pete” Perkins; son Michael Perkins (wife Beth); daughter Donna Sirmons (husband Don); daughter Brenda Strickland (husband Ken); grandchildren: Noah Perkins, Karleebeth Perkins, Thomas Sirmons (wife Ashley), and Kaitlyn Purdy (husband Davis) and 3 great granddaughters: Rylan, Jemma & Dakota. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Quincy, Garden Club, Bridge Club and Pilot Club where she served as President. She had a heart of service and loved doing for others, where she voluntarily served on many committees for her church and community. She loved gardening and decorating her beautiful yard, bringing enjoyment and pleasure to all driving by. Hilda was dearly loved by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church, Quincy. Observing Federal Guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
