Obituary for Helen Sunday Jackson

Obituary

Helen Sunday Jackson, 83, went home to be with her Lord on Friday,

November 28, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. She was born, along with

her twin sister Ellen, on Jan. 14, 1942 in Quincy, FL to Frank Martin Sunday and

Myrtice Dean Sunday. She attended and graduated from Chattahoochee High

School after also attending the Mt. Pleasant School for a time, and was a faithful

member of Old Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. For much of her early life, Helen

was a home maker before taking the position of receptionist at the law firm

Kitchen, Judkins, Simpson and High in Tallahassee.


She was preceded to heaven by her loving husband of 40 years, Ralph Gilbert

Jackson and grandson David Ralph Jackson (DesiRae). She is survived by two

sons, Terry R. Jackson (Shirley) of Thomasville, Ga and John M. Jackson (Debbie)

of Mt. Pleasant, FL; ten grandchildren, Casey Conrad (Matthew), Rebekah

Jackson, John Patrick Jackson, Andrew Beau Garbett (Chantal), Katy White

(Case), Lucas Jackson, Jandy Douberly (Greg), Kailey Paulson (Jack), and

Matthew Tippins (Faith), and nineteen (19) great-grandchildren; siblings Ellen

Sunday Clark and Evelyn Sunday Maxwell; and a host of family, friends and

loved-ones.


Services will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at Bristol Methodist Church,

10815 FL-20, Bristol, FL, 32321. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by

the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Interment and committal will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the

Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 6420 Memorial Blue Star Hwy, Chattahoochee, FL.
