Obituary for Hazel Louise Kent Marshall
Hazel Louise Kent Marshall was born Nov. 2, 1927 in the community of Juniper, Fl. To Melvin and Alco Kent and died on August 27, 2024. The second of 10 children (Melverine, Hazel, Charles, Cortez, Joyce, Roger, Jennell, Patsy, Cathie and Brenda. Jessie, who already had 4 children (James, Margaret, Helen and Christine) finally asked Hazel to marry him. Together they had one child Ethel Marie 'PeeWee'; which between the two of them made 6 children. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Alco Kent, her husband Jessie Marshall, two brothers: Charles and Cortez Kent, a sister Melverine. Both daughters Beulah Brown and Ethel Marie 'PeeWee' Duncan and a granddaughter Sherrie Summerlin. She is survived by her granddaughter Sandra Reddick (Roger), great grandson Heath Flanagan (Kirsten), great granddaughter Adrianna (husband and 2 children), great grandson Alex Summerlin, great great granddaughter Braylee Whitfield, great great grandson Garrett Flanagan, a brother Roger Kent. Sisters Joyce Hollahan, Jennell Adams (James), Patsy Saint, Cathie Parrish (Jimmy), Brenda Bilbo and many other family members. A visitation is planned for Friday August 30th at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. both at the Mt. Zion United Pentecostal Church in Hosford.
