Glenn McAlpin’s battle with cancer ended August 7, 2022 at the age of 69. He is survived by his daughter (McKayla Lunn), sisters (Christine Shiver, Gaynell Burdeshaw, and Joyce Standridge), and an abundance of nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him dearly. He was the rock of our family. He courageously protected, cared for, and supported each and every one of us. The skills that he taught us will impact our family for generations to come. Whether you needed a car fixed, a song written, or your soul brought to Christ, he was the man to go to. Although he was the glue that held our large family together, he has left a legacy of love and commitment that will not soon be forgotten. Glenn’s life will be celebrated as we gather together at Hillcrest Cemetery at 600 County Road 268, Quincy, Fl. on Saturday, August 13th at 10:00am. Please join us if you are available, because Glenn would have loved nothing more than all of his loved ones in one place keeping him company.
