Obituary for Gerald Lee Paul Martina, Jr.
Gerald Lee Paul Martina Jr, (AKA Bubba) (AKA Wildman) (AKA Jerry Martina) born Feb 27, 1957 in Apalachicola, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday June 27, 2015, with his brother and nephew by his side. He is survived by his mother Annie Carolyn Tucker Martina and his father Gerald Paul Martina, his twin brother Gary Damon Martina and his wife Ernestine ,a sister Jo Alice Martina Buzier and her husband Demetrius, his Grandmother Lillian Clyde Tucker, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and hundreds of life long friends. Jerry loved his family and friends and was dedicated to helping his mother, father and grandmother on a daily basis. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, swimming, shooting or anything outdoors. He spent lots of time with his grandmother, mother and father, helping them in any way he could, and with his brother, sister and nephews, and visited them on a regular basis during the last few years. He always had time for his friends, and would help them in times of need. He enjoyed it and wouldn't have it any other way. Jerry was a graduate of Carrabelle High School and a truck driver for years for Donnie Crum Seafood, driving to Atlanta Georgia. He then began working with Collins Construction. Jerry loved his job with Collins. Some of his lifelong friends were also employed there and he would always say it was a dream job. He absolutely loved, with all his heart, riding his motorcycle, feeling free and letting the wind blow through his hair. The Wilds "Gone" he would say, and off he would go. Well "Wild" from your Family and Friends, enjoy riding them Motorcycles in Heaven, til we see you again. We all Love you! Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6-7:00 PM at United Baptist Church. Service will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Eastpoint Baptist Church with interment at Eastpoint Cemetery. Charles McClellan Funeral Home, 15 S. Jackson St., Quincy, FL., (850) 627-7677, is in charge of arrangements.
