Obituary for Gavin Kent Sansom
Gavin Kent Sansom was born June14, 1994 and passed away April 28, 2026.
He loved doing just about anything outdoors, from work to swimming, selling watermelons and working his own bee hives. Gavin would help anyone with anything that he could. He was a 798 welder and pipefitting union member, a welder’s helper and previously worked with Moss until the job ended.
Gavin is survived by his parents, Danny and Denice Samson; sons, Peyton, age 11 and Leeam, age 8; his brothers, Jamie (wife Shawna), Donavin (Reba Kirkpatrick), Alec (Kayla Reisoglu) and Mitchell (Izzabella Hagerman); sisters, Piper (Eryk Beck) and Skyah (Ethan Lasher), seven nieces and three nephews; Grandparents, Debra Sansom, Kent Wade and wife Cindy and Patsy Brown. Gavin is also survived by his girlfriend Amber Miller and her son Everett.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Bobby Sansom.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford, FL. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Sanders Cemetery in Hosford.
