Obituary for Donnie Hubert Brackins
Donnie H Brackins, 71, of Quincy, Florida, passed away Saturday 27, 2022 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, 284 McCall Bridge Road, Quincy, FL on Friday September 2 at 10:00 am.
Donnie was born in Blountstown, FL on December 9, 1950. He graduated from Quincy High School Quincy, FL in 1968. On November 1, 1969 he married Linda D Collins for a total of 52 years.
He retired from Department of Transportation Turnpike Division, so he could travel, fish, listen to music and play cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Myrtle Brackins, and his oldest granddaughter Caitlin Pumphrey.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Tammy Pumphrey, Karen and son in law Timothy Smith, and Barbara Goodson, 7 grandchildren, Tyler Bishop, Heather and husband Brandon Granger, Adam and wife Lexie Quinn, Andrew Goodson, Austin and wife Brittany Bishop, Matthew Smith and Bayley Goodson, 3 great grandsons, Brian, Wyatt, and Logan Granger and 1 great granddaughter Haley Granger, 5 sisters Linda Rice (Luke), Louise Womack (Donald), Jeannie Whittle (John), Connie Womack, and Gail Clemmons (Roy), 3 brother in laws, Randall Collins (Joann), David Collins, and Danny Collins, 3 sister in laws, Regina Turner, Diane Figger (Rod) and Donna Oxendine (Randy), many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
