She is survived by her husband, Nelson Gatch of Havana, sons, Stephen Boynton Shelfer, Jr. of Tallahassee and David Nelson Gatch of Burlington, NC, sister, Diane Cain Peacock of Havana, brothers, Steve (Jan) Cain of Tallahassee, and Jeffrey David Cain of San Diego, California.
