Obituary for Dewey Brown O'Conner
Dewey (Wichita) Brown O' Conner Jr., 55 of Hardaway, FL passed away on Sunday March 20, 2016. He was born in Chattanooga, TN. Dewey was "Kid Kountry" on WSBP radio in Chattahoochee in the late 70's. He later worked for Gadsden County Road & Bridge and Crowder Construction. Dewey enjoyed music, motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carla, his brother Erwin, his son Dewey III (Jessica) and his grandson Austin as well as many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Dewey Sr. and Mazie, his brothers, and his Aunt Lucille Johnson. Graveside services will be held Monday March 21 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:30 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Highway 90 in Chattahoochee, FL.
