Obituary for Deborah Alday Phillips
Deborah Luverne Newberry Alday Phillips, 63, of Quincy, passed away Dec. 19, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born May 1, 1955 in Texas to Wesley and Luverne Josey Newberry. She retired from the Gadsden County School Board as lunch room manager.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Charles McClellan Funeral Home. The service will be Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Glory Freewill Baptist Church in the Glory Community. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Marlon Phillips, her sons, Isreal and Jeremy Alday, and daughters, Lucy Spence and Katie Whitfield, ten grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother. She was predeceased by her parents.
