Obituary for Bobby Edward Glisson
Bobby E. Glisson, 82, of Midway, Florida, passed away on February 9, 2026. He was born on July 25, 1943, in Greensboro, Florida.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, John “Fuzz” Glisson and Stella Glisson, and by his siblings Betty Kirkland, JM Glisson, and Doris Finuff.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margie Glisson; his son, Paul “Sparkie” Pruett; his grandchildren, Madison Fenton (Anthony) and Chase Pruett (Alyssa); and his cherished great-grandson, Hudson Pruett; along with many loved nieces and nephews, to include Bruce Kirkland (Martha), Bill Kirkland, Barbara Graves (Corbin), Debbie Joyner (Bob), Jean Hartzog, Eric Finuff (Shay), Brenda Ingram (Danny), Linda Tucker, and Tommy Morrow (Heidi).
Those who loved Bobby take comfort in believing that he is now at peace in heaven, spending his days fishing and riding and training horses, free from pain and worry.
Bobby will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His love for his family and the memories he created will be forever held close by those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Cool Springs Cemetery, Faceville, Georgia.
